Camp
Staff Charlton Jordan - Gymnastic
specialist. Charlton has faithfully represented NCAA Basketball,
Fresno State University, the Altoona Curve, and tours with
Jumping Jack and Krazy Karacters throughout the nation as an
independant mascot performer. Charlton has
a new mascot character for ministries - "Daniel the Lion".
Karen
Simmons - Corporate specialist. Karen is best known for
her embodiment of Red Robin in the Central Pennsylvania region, but
also is requested by "a big, non-profit children's media program" to
bring to life some of tv's most notable fuzzy characters.
Erin
Blank - Self-styled knowitall. Or at least that's what we
let her believe. Has performed in nearly every conceiveable venue
as a mascot and what she hasn't done she probably has a story of
someone else who did. Erin's vast knowledge of the mascot world
and penchant for youthful personality development brings thought to
action in character building.
George
Russo - Comedy/Theater specialist. George is our funny
guy. He spent time with the Florida Marlins entertainers crew,
was the original NHL "Stanley C. (Florida) Panther", the original NFL
"T.D." for the Miami Dolphins, and has trained & Performed Improv
Comedy at "the Second City" LA and "UCB" NYC. On the serious side
George can also give advise on negotiations and compensation. You've
got questions George has answers. George is bucking for a
Keystone Mascots Summer
Camp that includes a Friday night catching lobsters in Key West.
Barbara
Becker - Customer Service Specialist - Barb is a Certified
Massage Therapist from Lancaster School of Massage. Been practicing for
16 years, now has a private practice. In 1997 Barb started
working for Hersheypark as costume character. From there Barb performed
as Coaster, mascot for Hershey Wildcats for two years until the team
disolved. She has been the Hershey Bears' mascot Coco's "best
friend" since 2001. Barb love mascoting because you can be
silly and have fun, and it shows when she's at work. Barb will
help us keep our focus on the enjoyment of the job, especially under
high pressure.

What
are they saying?
"The DVD was well
received by my family at a recent family gathering. Evan could
not wait to show it off. He is still talking about what a
wonderful time he had. We worked on his costume some more, even
added a head band.
Your insight and inspiration to what a mascot brings to a community is
wonderful. Sometimes we need to see things through others eyes.
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. Your
enthusiasm is contagious!"
Cheryl Miller
Oneonta (NY) High School
"Everyone in the school district thought that it was the coolest thing
that there is a mascot camp. You got rave reviews and great media
coverage. I was the center of three feature stories, all of which
mentioned your website and your camp! Yeah, but it gets
better...the school board was amazed at everything we learned and is
considering a second trip for me.
Still more, the Jaguar has been getting tons of interest, and was even
on TV! Every part of the school wants to get in on the Jaguar
fever! We are going to be running the program with a yearly
budget. This will cover all give-aways from football season,
basketball season, volleyball season, pep rallys and general expenses.
The alumni assn. has asked all 65 classes to donate money to an
operationg fund. Its wonderful! Almost done, promise! (my
fingers were crossed). We have also been able to launch a site
for the mascot, like a hub for people to flock to."

"I can't thank you enough for the great mascot camp, and for giving me
a ride everyday. I had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and enjoyed myself.
I even used an experience from the camp as part of my Sunday homily. I
really look forward to using Blueregard in the future, because I really
have a better sense of what he can do, and how to animate him. It was
well worth the trip to come to camp.
Peace, joy and laughter in Christ"
